Diana - The Latina Still Standing
Diana B. Figueroa knows what it feels like to fall – but she also knows how to get back up! That is why she created The Latina Still Standing movement including social media empowerment pages, retreats, storytelling and blogs.
Struggles are sometimes necessary to survive and grow in this life. She credits her Faith and God as the reasons she is Still Standing. She is determined to continue to heal and grow and desires to help other Latinas and women of color to do the same — through resilience and empowerment retreats, webinars and coaching.
Diana is a Latina social media influencer who has overcome tremendous obstacles. After dropping out of high school at the age of 14, she received her GED on her 16thbirthday and went straight to college, graduating Summa Cum Laude from a community college and then transferred to Arizona State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the prestigious Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Diana serves as Senior Vice President for an education nonprofit.
